    He wasn't champ at the time but old Morales put in a few notable performances while looking flabby.

    Ruiz shows that function and fitness is not the same thing as aesthetics....he clearly was in good condition, fast hands good power, good movement the comic book looking physique guy is not always the baddest man in the room...the observation of the fitness level of a fighter should be made of the individual history....some fighters their fitness to fight seems obvious based off their normal appearance after preparation....if the point of being a fighting champion meant having the best physique then AJ would still be the champ....muscle definition is a matter of genetics and diet...bigger muscles require oxygen and energy to function....I am pretty happy as it should shut up some that think that appearance is more important than substance and judge everything off that.....I learned that long ago as a fighter and in the military.....some of the most normal looking people had abnormal physical strength and endurance....I usually try to refrain from making superficial judgements and prefer to make them off my observations
