What's the main difference between the two brands other than BAD delaying the broadcast for the west coast? IMO, BAD is unnecessary.

BAD is for prospects and 2nd rate fights. WCB is higher quality cards.

The name says it all. World Championship Boxing involves fights for "championship belts" like tonight...Berto's WBC belt was on the line. BAD is for contenders and prospects.

    Wasn't Williams/Martinez, which wasn't a title fight, on WCB?

WCB is for bigger name fighters.

BAD has the cool intro that goes: din din din din din dinnnnn dun dun dun (guy shadowboxing while running cross town to a gym where once he arrives the black dude hitting the speed bag shits his pants when he sees the guy who enters the gym transforming into a ringwalk holds hands up high to become the "X" in boXing after dark)

Well considering Martinez is the WBC 154 pound champ. And Williams beat Phillips who was the IBF 154 pound champ. And Williams is a former 147 pound champ and one of the top P4P fighters in the world........

Dont really sound like they belong on a show for contenders and up and comers.

BAD is basically the level of card exactly between FNF and WCB.

BAD is typically better fights than WCB but WCB means a belt is on the line

The biggest difference between the two is that World Championship Boxing cards have much higher budgets than Boxing After Dark shows. Just because a title is on the line doesn't mean a fight will end up on W.C.B. and vice versa. The main difference between the two, other than the budgets are Lampley handles the blow by blow for W.C.B. while Bob Papa (unfortunately) does so on Boxing After Dark.

Boxing After Dark is for low level fights? Didn't use to be back in the day.

Some of the greatest fights I've ever seen were BAD promotions.

BAD is for the less well-known fighters. Fighters who are looking to establish themselves.

    Wasnt the likes of Barrera-Morales I , Gatti-ward or Toney-jirov on BAD?

Also we had yesterday hbo wcb card and in two weeks there is bad card with Angulo-Julio and Adamek-Arreola i think its pretty obvious which is better.
