    Amatuer boxing is still harder than than the vast majority pro sports in this country..... premiership footballers are alot mroe worthy of ridicule than any amateur boxer pal.

    I'm not saying amateur boxing isn't hard, IMO it is corrupt with it's stupid scoring system.

    But it is seriously boring.

    Fights are paused mid round because a guy has a cut lip FFS!

    Premiership footballers do deserve ridicule I agree, but I'm not really a football fan. Rugby and cricket are my staples, then boxing in the bronze position.

    Amatuer boxing is filled with dodgy rules and charcters behind the scenes.... you would think that the unpaid ranks would would have less red tape! things are getting better though.... I hope they get rid of the headguards real soon though.... as they changed the round duration back to 3 minute ones.
