Strange that Martin Murray is so high in all the soup ratings.

Any Ryan Rhodes doesn't deserve his rating. If you get absolutely dominated by the champ you should be out of the running, at least until you prove you're a contender again :deal

    Good info Rob :thumbsup

Pardon my ignorance when it comes to the 4 governing bodies but looking at our list of ranked fighters it seems that most listed are ranked with the WBO or if ranked with numerous organisations it seems that most (not all) are ranked higher with WBO than the others. E.G.-
    Groves
    Degale
    Brook
    Mitchell
(All ranked higher or equal highest with WBO than any other body)

WBO Champions or versions of WBO champions: (WBO being the only governing body where brits hold world titles)
    Burns
    Cleverley
    Afolabi (Interim)

Fighters who only have a ranking with the WBO:
    Bellew
    Gavin
    Smith

With the above in mind is the WBO seen as the easier option for British fighters looking to get their hands on their first version of a world title? (George Groves' next bout)

    Ha Ha So True!!!

    FWANK Strikes again!!!

He doesn't get it though does he, although "World Champion" might sound good, lets be honest, more people want to see a domestic fight between Quigg and Frampton or Fury and Price than see the Cleverly bum of the month show. No disrespect to Cleverley but surely he must know he's being fed crap opponents just so he keeps his title.

I think the hatton/brook fight shows how much more people are interested in decent domestic match ups with a bit of name value and good promotion.

That's understandable though, everyone would have preferred to see Groves vs Degale than either of them vs someone like Gutnechkt. Burns vs Mitchell will be a bigger fight than Burns vs Moses even though Moses is more proven at world level.
