Anyone watching this. Very entertaining watching the future of international professional boxing. Caught the Mexicans v Americans 2 nights ago and there is some exceptional talent on verge. Mexican middle wieght Ortega, what a talented fighter.
I can never find these programs on fox, it's so hard with all the stupid sports chanels which play Euro handball and tennis all day, and leave the boxing for after midnight They need a dedicated boxing channell, fu*k all this super fights on sky racing crap!!
I watched in a couple of night ago. Some Handy guys amonst them. One fight, I can't think of the blokes name but he got flat out robbed. I think his name sounded something like Florian. Good night though.
Saturday night Russians v Turks. Some great matchups. This Russian fighter, Mehmet, lightwieght, threw 3 tremenduos headbutts and was DQ on the 3rd. I honestly have not seen such an ill disciplined fighter (incuding Golotta). After the first the commentators were stunned. The second was let go without even a warning which had the commentators quite and the 3rd got him an instant DQ. These young blokes really find it yard to adapt to the pro style. These fights are 5 rounders and these guys go as hard as they would with head gear, accidental clashes constanly. Think it was Monday night 3 fights were ended because of accidental clashes, that was 50% of the card. Not sure how long the series runs but most fighters in thief respective countries teams have had 3 fights each. It on the eurosport channel, definately worth keeping an eye on.
It's on Vs right now, interesting concept.. and the guys are getting paid.. not sure how much.. but something. If we had a team local, I'd support them. Cool concept that I hope works.. would be a great place for guys to start a career.
