I have been catching some World Series of Boxing events on youtube via the WSB official page and I've really been enjoying it. I have a general concept of the purpose of the league, but I did have a few questions -- 1) How good are the fighters? Are these top amateurs, or are we dealing with good, but not the best, fighters for a given area? 2) Have any fighters from previous WSB seasons gone pro?
1. The fighters are very good, there are a lot of the best amateurs in the world plus since last year, professionals with less than 15 fights have been eligible as well. 2. Yes, the highest profile one is Lomachenko who will be making professional debut later this year.
