In world title fights in recent years (since 2000) what for you are the 3 biggest beat downs in world title fights?

    Here are mine:

    Joe Calzaghe v Jeff Lacy
    Floyd Mayweather v Diego Corrales
    Floyd Mayweather v Arturo Gatti

    Uhm?

So many... can't pick three :)

Samuel Peter vs. Vitali Klitschko comes to mind, because it was a recent one.

I want to go back far enough since it impressed me. Starling vs. Honeyghan. Marlon put a beating on Starling. Recent? Pavlik over Taylor the first fight. Nice win for Pavlik. That fight shows anyone who fights Pavlik later on to not to get in an exchange with him.

hopkins took apart tito in 12 humiliating rounds for the unified middle weight title in '01

mayorga easily ran over the welter weight champion in 3 rounds in '03.

pac destroyed the (widely viewed) featherweight champ in '03

Sugar Shane beat down Margarito pretty good.

Shane-Margarito was a humiliation. 9 straight rounds of torture, capped off by a round where Margarito didn't land a single punch!
