The least known, probably ones many never heard of, yet these venues/places still had the distinction of hosting a world title fight. Which ones spring to mind?

The Central Maine Civic Center, a small junior hockey league arena, for Ali-Liston II.
Watres Armory, Scranton, PA, for Holmes-Rodriguez.
Various casino ballrooms, in recent years.
In the 1800's, clearings in the woods, when boxing was illegal and bouts had to be fought in secret.

It held Teiru Kinoshita Vs Zolani Tete, and Kinoshita actually worked in the hotel!

    brilliant!
who could ever forget the legendary one-on-one "showdowna in the sauna".
nothing compares to this mother of all battles, which was clearly won by fury and no contest at all.
their second fight was just an unsignificant kindergarten, compared to the first one. :number_one:

I remember Roberto Duran's title defense against Lou Bizzarro being in what they called the Erie, Pa. Fieldhouse. I thought at the time, "A fieldhouse?!". I don't know how many attended but I looked up the facility and it was setup for about 3,500 seats but it says it could hold about 5,200 or something like that. Maybe SRO, I don't know. It just sounded like a small facility when I first watched the fight live.

The world title fight between Jack McAuliffe and Jem Carney (one of the great ye Olde title fights) was fought in a barn, with three ropes and the wall of the barn forming the ring, in front of about 30 people.

Julian Jackson vs. Herol Graham took place in a Spanish hotel/resort after Jackson couldn't get sanctioned to fight in Britain.
