    the best active body puncher i think is split between cotto or hatton

    there some serious body bangerz right there

    micky ward...best ever one punch body shot...bar none...if it wasn't for that punch noone would even know who i was talking about

    Would anyone agree that the art of bodypunching seems to have diminished over recent years. Looking at old tape of fights it seemed to be a much more used tactic

    I agree. It's a shame that it's becoming a dying art. It's because it's not as crowd-friendly as head-hunting, but it's every bit as devastating IMO. No-one would think of him as a great bodypuncher, but Roy Jones's KO of Virgil Hill is stunning.

    Tyson and Margarito also deserve a mention here, both VERY effective.

    Cotto's good, but not that good imo since moving up a weight, he never once went to Margo's body in his last outing which was a poor showing... then again it would mean taking punishment to get in, so maybe I'm being a little harsh?

    Micky Ward for me was the best. But in that list Hatton and Cotto need to be there
