Beating Adamek is a complete waste of time for Miller. Big step back.

 

Miller-Adamek is an awful fight. Utterly terrible.

The Beterbiev fight could be an absolute pasting too although his inactivity could make it interesting, just glad he's fighting again though. Gavin's fight is good, like that. The Vargas fight is mediocre.

It's not a bad card at all, there's interest for me.

The card is mediocre expected a lot more from Eddie ,,,The DAZN deal got flop writing all over it..

 

if you are looking for someone to blame for this fight then it is the fighters for agreeing to it, and the 2 fighters promoters and managers for accepting these fights

 

I think its fine. There's just about enough on that card to get me interested and to watch it (we get it on Sky sports which is really good)

Must be quite a strange one for Eddie regarding some of the matchups. For example Gav McDonnell vs Daniel Roman. Hearn has backed Gavin highly and is happy to get him this title shot. But you would think deep down he wants/needs Roman to win this, to help build the DAZN stable of USA champions. Surely won't be too good if UK fighters win these belts.

The point is he has a new platform and a new bunch of fighters.Matching them well and to an audience at home matters just as much as bums on seats.

Yes if he's gonna go down that Polish route, why not Izu Ugonoh? It's not as if he's up to much these days. Apart from that though, it's not a bad card and I am certainly no fan of Eddie Hearn.

 

Hearn is certainly putting some fighters on the bill to sell tickets. He wants to sell out arenas in the States to try and get a buzz for the viewers of DAZN. Lets be honest boxing bills always have a better feel to them when there is a near/full crowd. At the same time he has to be careful and make sure he makes good match ups. Overall his 1st bill looks solid.

 

the khabib mcgreger fight is a joke.. why anyone would watch that trash over Johnson fight is beyond me.

 

Wait outside the arena an hour before this fight and someone will offer a free ticket to get people in the door and in the stands for cosmetic purposes.

Hold out and they might throw in a free Polish hotdog.

 

It ain't toooo bad, having a pop ain't he, but it ain't big enough to stop the Conor-Khabib train
