Im a big fan of Froch's and want him to give Kessler the beat down tomorrow.

However the last few days have got me thinking.

Cancelled flights, injuries, Froch's head not being in the right place maybe?

Could we see another Hatton vs Pacquaio?

Loads of uncertainties were revealed in the days before that fight and look what happened. Hatton was gonna lose anyways but nobody expected it in that fashion.

Might change my Brit Forum prediction to Kessler KO2

    :-(

how many threads do we have to have about people worrying about froch. He didn't look great in the pascal build up, and people thought he had bottled it when he was first to look away at the head to head. But that meant **** all, and anything people are picking up on now is just over-active imagination

he looked a bit scared pre taylor as well, directly before the fight, when he got hit though, soon sorted him out. not changing my mind this late in the game, still backing froch.

plus remember hes making weight, every single fighter in the world is a grumpy ***** when making weight (no matter if he has "polish genes" or not)

agreed cheeky. far too much to read into it. He is used to these occasions, and i am backing him to beat kessler. I dont think it is going to be technically great, but i do expect a war, as kessler will be thinking a KO will get him right back in the competition. And froch will be thinking KO makes him a favourite to go through to the semi's. cant wait, think this could be a bit special

He looked like he was going to vomit during his ring walk for Taylor. He settled down eventually though, even if it took 12 rounds.

I'm torn on this fight. I like both fighters. I want to see Mikkel's resurgance but also want Froch to continue performaing to the level of his talk and ego. He has really won me over in the fights following the Reid mismatch

He's obviously a nervous guy, but that seems to help him ultimately.

He's always been a nervous fighter before fights going back to his amateur days.

All the talk about the flights, injuries, even the move to Herning from Copenhagen does worry me a little, seems nothing has gone right but still hoping he can pull it off.

Calzaghe ruined Kessler anyway. But then Joe has ruined more boxers than a downs kid with diarrhea.

hopefully the fear of losing a decision will make him fight harder

    fear is good motivation !

I felt the same way and was a little concerned myself about Froch's mental state. But having just watched the weigh-in Froch looks like he's back to his confident self, he had great support there too so they must have given him a boost.

Froch looks fine. At the conference he was pretty dismisive of Sauerlands litle jibes.
    Having said that, Kessler ud!
