It is a poor devision,Pavlik is a good fighter but no more than that..

 

Give it another 18 months it will be the best. It has a massive amount of very promising prospects.

 

yer it looks bad, Pavlik hasn't got anything going in the division, a fight with PW needs to happend though, but their is lot of prospects for the fututre

 

Light Heavyweight is horrible too. All you got is Pascal and Dawson.

 

There are people in there who would beat Pavlik, just aren't big draws. Golovkin would handle him comfortably imo.

 

160 is pathetic. CW isn't much better.

 

I think your forgetting a little someone called Sergio Mora... better than Floyd and Pac combined - would easily handle Roy Jones or any of the elites. I would even pick him over Joe Louis with Mora moving up to heavyweight

 

:good Gennady Golovkin, Matt Korobov, Dimitri Pirog, Daniel Jacobs, David Lemieux...

And that's forgetting half.

Besides Pavlik there are a few unproven prospects like Guerrero and Jacobs but nothing else. There is also Wright, Williams, and Martinez but they fight where they offer more money so they are not legitimate MWs. Sturm is also a name worth mentioning.

True its a terribly poor division, absolutly nothing there of interest, but id have to say the Cruiserweight is the absolute worst:-(

 

Cruiser weight is terrible because of all the guys bloating up to be HW. Or those not dedicated to boil down, whichever. Minto has decided that he is going to cruiser. Wise decision on his part.

 

Every division has its up and downs

Taylor, Pavlik, Abraham, and Miranda to an extent, beat everyone there was to beat, and then KP emerged on top.

Right now the division is in a rebuilding phase, and will be quite good in 18 months or so.
