WTF? I don't do p4p list. Makes me :tired
But, i don't think fighters should be ranked according to their losses...

Hatton's loss was definitely worse. Cotto was hitting Margarito with everything but the kitchen sink but couldn't make a dent. Margarito just wouldn't fall. Hatton basically couldn't do anything at all against Mayweather Jr. Then got KOed by the ringpost.

Floyd is a couple of classes above Margo don't you think?

Also, Cotto is a 147* fighter, Hatton is not. Hatton was fighting outside his weight against a HOF ATG.

*Cotto can no longer fight at 140 he is too big.

Also Hatton went out on his shield, I'm not sure Cotto did.

People seem to forget just where Margo was before the Cotto fight.. no where.

Although people believed it would be a good fight Cotto was a big fav for it.

Hatton fights the best in another weight division and gives it all he has, great qualities in a fighter.

Cotto's loss was clearly worse IMO, even though I think he boxed better than Ricky did.

It depends. I would have much preferred to have been Cotto, who can take satisfaction out of not only knowing that he boxed Margarito's head off for the first 6 rounds, but was doing it against a boxer who might have had his gloves loaded at the time.

Hatton not only lost, but by devastating knockout to one of the cockiest guys in the sport, who doesn't really hit all that hard. Pretty humiliating.

I would much rather have been Miguel Cotto.

Cotto v Margarito was worse ... at the end of the fight, Cotto had a bloody mask on his face. He was exausted and he was beat down brutally --

I think all p4p lists are stupid, but if i was making one i would put Hatton higher than Cotto.

I think Cotto's was worse, whether it was fair or not. The beating he took was significantly worse than what Hatton did and he was the favorite to win. Also, along with suffering alot less punishment, Hatton's loss was in a division he wasn't the best suited for against a superior fighter. We've seen Ricky bounce back; we still don't know how Cotto will.

I agree with Dinamita and ChampsForever that Cotto did put in the better performance between the two, but the loss was still worse.

Cotto lost to margo who wasn't even ranked pfp top 20 at the time

Maywhether was pfp king at the time... theres the differance.

One was an upset one wasn't and thats why Hattons loss will never be on the same level as Cottos.

Hatton's lost was worse. Hatton nuthuggers blame Cortes for not letting Hatton mug PBF. Floyd would have beaten in any style. He played with, that's right played with Hatton and then banged him into the ring post! Cotto at least had some good rounds against Margo.

I think of it this way... does Hatton have a chance in a rematch? Does Cotto?

I personally don't see Hatton ever beating Floyd. Cotto on the other hand only had to clinch here and there to stop the Mexican cheater from hitting him with those cinderblocks. I give Cotto a damn good chance if they fight again.
