The Jones fight was a shameless, blatant fix, the Holyfield fight seemed to just be a screw up.

this is not the worst but our boy mansueto velasco was robbed of a gold be a bulgarian. i think he landed the cleaner punches but in the end he still lost. this was our best chance to win the first ever olympic gold medal and it was taken away from us. we may never have that pooprtunity again in decades

    Jones fight was just baffling.

Also, I don't think the Velasco fight was as big of a robbery as some filipinos might think. I actually thought Petrov won that one.

Here is an interesting question for you - Do you even consider the Holyfield disqualification a robbery? If so, why?

seriously? i don't know if the fight is at youtube, if it is, watch it with the volume down and score it. you will clearly see points piling up for petrov when it was mansueto doing all the punching

No question that Holyfield was robbed of Gold.

The ref yelled break while Holyfield's hand was already cocked back to unleach it.....how the hell the ref could expect Holyfield to refrain from throwing a shot that was essentially already on its way as he yelled break, is beyond all comprehension!

When you replay that knockout left hook in real time that got Holyfield shamlessly disqualified, you could swear that the ref is yelling break as Holyfield's shot is landing!

No question that Holyfield was robbed.......
.....and for those that dont know, the fact that Holyfield was robbed of Gold in the 84 Olympics, is the reason that the nickname "Real Deal" came about.

"Real Deal" meaning he was the Real Olympic Champion!

Most of the Koreans in 1984. The Koreans were livid when their man lost to Jerry Page (i think it was him?). Boxing News agreed. Wasn't Tillman vs De Witt an awful decision too.

Jones is the worst decision I've ever seen. Ever. I always get worked up just thinking about it. In my opinion the Olympic Gold medal means more than any alphabet title.
