Kovalev's was worse but to be fair Hopkins wasn't prime and Kelly was.

Well, if you want to nitpick like that, Hopkins was at his comfortable weight, having fought there consistently fourteen straight times over eight years, coming off three straight world title victories and having just unified two of the 175lb belts, meaning he was still in top form at the weight. Pavlik was dragged up essentially two weight classes up from his prime division in which he was champion and had never fought above his Taylor catch-weight of 164lbs before.

    Exactly :deal

All we saw was in there was an old man trying to survive 12 without getting KTFO. Hopkins win over Pavlik was a schooling in the true sense of the word. Pavlik was doing his damndest to win rounds but just got totally outboxed

Pavlik. Pavlik was in his prime, and got schooled a 40 something year old.

Kovalev's clinic on Hopkins was great, but it was against a 105 year old. We were all kind of waiting for the young gun to come around that could beat him decisively. Kovalev did it with little problem outside of a couple jabs and a right hand or two. Kovalev's clinic being fresher in my mind, it seems to be the cleaner boxing lesson of the two.

Hopkins was scared to death in the kovalev fight so I'd say that one

Hopkins deserved more credit because pavlik was prime. Kov Bhop was a bit novelty and not a very competitive fight. the best of Kovalev is yet to come.Bhop gets credit for getting in the ring with a beast.

Good observation. That's the way it was in both cases.

    True.

But I think, all things considered, that Bernard's win over Pav was the better win of the two.

Compu Box is far too inaccurate to be used for arguments. Makes no sense to even bring Compu Box up.

Kovalev vs Hopkins was the more dominant however Hopkins vs Pavlik was the more embarrassing.
