Yeah that was insane. Wilder at best won like 3 rounds. Even that was reaching. Fight was a clear 116-110 type win for Fury.
One of the worst ones ive seen was the Draw and 115-113 card to Mora against Mosley. I thought Mosley clearly won that fight and got robbed of the W.
Adalaide Byrd 110-118 Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez 1 Ian John Lewis 114-111 Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall Ken Bucher 73-79 Ivan Golub vs Jamontay Clark Larry Hazzard Jr 119-108 Jermall Charlo vs Matt Korobov
I don't think Fury - Wilder was robbery. While Wilder misses a lot, Fury did next to nothing and land nothing on his own too, and just clowning around. You ain't winning rounds for just clowning around. And while Wilder was missing a lot in that fight, he was able to partially land, and when your opponent does just clowning around, and not landing on his own, he is going to lose this rounds. And there was plenty of such rounds in Fury vs Wilder.
Adelaide Byrd's was one of the worst I have ever seen.....Should have never been able to Judge again absolute Corruption at it's best.!!!
Canelo 118-110 Golovkin. All I can guess is that Canelo handed her a brown envelope with 10k in it after she'd finished blowing him in the changeroom. That score by Adelaide Byrd was so blatantly corrupt that Teddy Atlas just about had foam on his mouth afterwards.
No, it was quite obviously a robbery. Now that isn't to say you couldn't score it a draw. I can accept people have that view. Though to get to a draw you are biasing Wilder's work over Fury's on all those close rounds. But, hey people put more or less emphasis on different criteria when they score. Fair enough But we already had one judge score it a draw which has a clear bias to Wilder. Whilst Rochin's card gave Wilder 7 rounds! It was outrageous, and clearly corrupt. Hence a robbery. Again, its not really about whether or not a draw was a fair score card. The problem was, the result from three judges most definitely was not. It was Holyfield - Lewis all over again
This content is protected worst robbery I ever saw. Golub won every round. Look at the comments section if you don't wanna bother watching the fight.
Go on Google and search who among the two landed more clean shots over the other. However even only watching that close fight you can notice Holyfield did something more than Lennox. The judges give Lennox the win for the mess happened after the first fight clearly won by Lewis. They robbed each other. It needed a trilogy
It was the very definition of a home judging. Julie Lederman of New York turned in the 119-109 scorecard in favour of New Yorker, Teofimo Lopez. I don't know how they got away with that one to be honest.
I did go on Google, these are the first stats I found https://boxrec.com/wiki/index.php/Lennox_Lewis_vs._Evander_Holyfield_(2nd_meeting)
It's scandalous but hardly surprising to someone who is aware of how often they stack the deck with a home ref and three home judges over in the US, and I mean for world title fights, unification match ups and even undisputed. This doesn't happen anywhere else in the world
