    It's obvious.Hopkins was a great middleweight champion,nobody is calling Ottke a great champion.

    Even though Ottke was clearly below Calzaghe in most points he was very tough to hit. It would have been a good fight. Did I just ignore the topic?

    But look at names like Segundo Mercado(twice),Robert Allen(3 times),Steve Frank,Joe Lipsey,William Bo James,Andrew Council,Morrade Hakkar,Syd Vanderpool,Keith Holmes during Hopkins title reign,pretty terrible

    its still better than some of the guys Calzaghe defended is "mickey Mouse" title.

    If Joe was NOT the guy who had beaten Hopkins, Jones, Kessler, Bika, Lacy, Veit, Reid, and Eubank. :huh Amazing that Calzaghe still has so many haters. I swear, even if he managed to go heavyweight and beat both Klitsckos, you guys would still hate him.
