I think right now both are some of the best body punchers. Butes is pretty deadly but i need to see it against top level opposition. The closest it comes to that would be Andrade who always showed a solid chin but the body is a whole different game.
I agree Maidana is mental, Khan took both sides of the body and the left was a ripper, stopped MM right in his tracks, amazed he had the breath to get up. Warrior no doubt.
Khan-Maidana and Ward-Gatti 1 are great single body shots that guys recovered from. For sustained punishment to the body, how the hell did Ali absorb those body shots in Zaire and Manila and then finish the fights so strong? Especially in that weather where you're more likely to be tired.
All punches sound loud on TV because of the high definition mic's they have close to the rings, you dumbass!! and for you having being a pathetic whining crybaby:|, here's this thread for you. This content is protected
He didn't recover from this but.... how the hell did Mosley not go down from that vicious body assault he endured from Vernon Forrest in round 10 of their first fight? The very first body shot landed by Vernon to start the assault made Mosley groan louder than I've ever heard from any fighter and it kept him curled over for a few moments and then Vernon completely obliterated that midsection. No idea how Mosley didn't go down.
This is the worst bodyshot: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwBQbA0G9ss[/ame] Bobby was on all fours, paralyzed in agonizing pain for more than 4 minutes. This is why Juan M Marquez is too scared to fight Humberto Soto.
I know Ray Mercer KOd Tommy Morrison but Ray said in an interview that Tommy is a vicious body puncher. He felt every shot and whenever Morrison landed a shot to his body, he involuntarily passes gas
