Leon Shavers, with a perfect record of 0-21, with all of his 21 unblemished losses coming by way of knockout (almost always in the first round). Have you guys ever seen a worse boxer? He fought for 12 years and retired in 1999: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=5527&cat=boxer
Not really.. This guy has him pretty well topped http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=5316&cat=boxer
Surpassed Rocky Marciano's unbeaten record in reverse and is still going strong: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=18803&cat=boxer
No way is Peter Buckley the worst boxer in the world. What a complete insult. The guy has taken many prospects the distance, including Naseem Hamed twice. As ESB's own Jeff Thomas will tell you, he's awkward and hard to hit clean. He loses regularly because he fights often against top prospects of a number of different weights, and he's defensive-minded. But he's not exactly disgraced himself because he's hard too hit clean and always goes the distance and gives people rounds.
Of course, I'm sure he's not actually the world's worst boxer; but as far as comparing red-looking records goes I think his inclusion is merited (for the above reason).
Im suprised no one on here said ricky hatton....but honestly..how about that guy peter mcneeley knocked out in 6 seconds right before the tyson fight, frankie hines.
Whats wrong with you, Jack ? Hatton was never my favourite fighter but at least give him his proper respect, the guy was a very good fighter that only ever lost to the 2 top fighters of this generation. We both know Im right, mate :good
LOL>.i actually like Hatton..and I think he even stands a good chance of beating Marquez if that fight comes off....I was just saying im suprised no one said hatton, because i would have expected someone to have said him, given how much **** he gets on the boards.
