By the way, what does "One time" mean, Keith Thurman's nickname? It sounds like "He became a champion one time and that's all".
Anything to do with Killer, Matador, Executioner, Hit Man, Bazooka, Bomb...anything that has to do with killers or things that can be used to kill people. As far as other nicknames....I don't know?... I find most accurate, more or less but yeah "The Entertainer" for Johnny Nelson? I heard he was boring.
TBH prior to Tyson being famous, after the Larry Holmes fight Carl Williams did seem to be The Truth..God knows how many times I went over in my head about a dream fight between him and Michael Spinks before A) Tyson showed up on my TV and B) he got starched by Mike Weaver.
Didn’t like Hagler’s, sounds ridiculous stuck on at the front. Far too gaudy for his image. Copying from originals, such as Sugar, Truth, Hitman. Jared Anderson needs to give his one a serious rethink. The Entertainer, was surely an ironic one conjured up by Brendan Ingle for Nelson!
This guy Nikita Ababiy goes by "White Chocolate," which is pretty awful. Michael Hunter victim Mike Wilson went by "White Delight." Just in general any nickname that has a color in it is usually pretty dumb to me. Also I don't remember the guy, but awhile back this discussion was being had on Reddit and someone mentioned a guy whose nickname was a bunch of more famous fighters all mashed together. It was like Liston Ali Tyson or something really dumb like that.
