Foster has shown he is completely corrupt after liking a Carl Froch post on social media the night before he boxed George Groves, (which was about knocking Groves out), when he was ‘officiating’ it the next day and then did one of the worst stoppages of all time in boxing when he gifted the win to Froch. Hideous.

 

How is that a bad pick? Was in Don Kings pocket, everyone knows that. Errr Meldrick Taylor.

The ref in the Morrison Mercer fight. And Jay nady "watch your head Evander, watch your head Evander." He wouldn't even let John Ruiz do his inside fighting versus Jones. Plus he shoulda been the ref for Tyson Holyfield one and two. "Watch your head Evander, watch your head Evander* smh

 

Agree 100%. If you don't notice the ref that means he's doing a good job. SMOGER the great was great at allowing natural finishes to fights! What about Jay nady scolding I can't remember who in the corner, but anyway he said :"that's a big bozo nono." Like a preschool teacher he came across lol. Remember when Zab lifted his chin? Lol.

 

Honestly I saw a paid off ref in Oquendo vs j Ruiz: he stopped the fight after ONE headshot landed. Jawny didn't need to work very hard in that fight !

I used to think Joe Cortez was a great referee and then he started to go downhill. I learned that his daughter got into a horrific automobile accident and becoming quadriplegic because of faulty tires on the vehicle. I wonder if that might have broken his mind in some way and changed his refereeing. I felt super bad for her when I read the story years ago.

 

I hope that idiot for enough in that manila envelope to retire. Haven't seen much of him after that Loma debacle
