People will name Teddy Atlas, but actually I enjoy his nonsense sometimes because it is comedy pure. Also his disappointment when the fighter he hated at, won. No, the worst commentators are those Brits. I am notsure about their name but recently it was more than ridicolous. They hyped David Price crazily, every jab he landed was commentated like it would be a power punch Mike Tyson. I loved the knockoutin round 2 .. "The Klitschko Brothers will be watchign this .. Tyson Fury will be watching this" .. 3 seconds later K.O. The talk about Cleverlys granite chin .. :rofl Or even the fight Barker vs Geale .. Geale lands a wonderful body punch, Barker kneels and they say it was a low punch. atsch
i heartily dislike Teddy because of his anti-Eastern Euro stance and over-hyping American fighters who don't deserve it the Boxnation guys are hilarious, after Clev got thrashed, they said that Clev may rematch Kovalev in the future
Teddy Atlas is definitely the very worst. Max Kellerman is another awful one. The UK's John Rawlings has a dull, monotone, nasal voice which is not suitable for boxing commentary.
John Rawlings please fuk off, hate his commentary.. He commentates as if he's on the radio and not tv.
There are plenty of bad analysts. But the British team are consistently the worst. It's almost as if they feel they have some sort of real time influence over ringside scoring. Immediately calling low blow against Geale was just typical of what I expect from these clowns. Close fight by the way which I agree could've gone either way.
Max Kellerman is by far the worst boxing commentator I've seen in 35 years of following boxing. Unlike qualified commentators like Larry Merchant, Steve Farhood or Al Bernstein, he never worked as a boxing journalist prior to getting handed a job at ESPN. Nor did he have any in-ring experience as a participant or trainer, like say, Emmanuel Steward or Roy Jones. No, Kellerman is some punk, plucked from cable access obscurity for no reason other than his wealthy family knew Bill Cayton, who sacked the great Al Bernstein at ESPN to put this unqualified twerp on the air. To be a good boxing commentator requires seasoning, and paying dues in the trenches, something this punk will never have. He should go back to making no-talent rap videos, and talking **** on cable access, It's exactly where he belongs.
I was just watching the "Baby Bull" comeback fight #2 on Solo Boxeo & I must say that Carlos Hernandez is brutal to listen to... his Spanish is broken. They should consider replacing him, Robert Garcia wasn't bad last night calling the Dolorme fight, just sayin'
Pom poms and ra-ra skirts, thatÂ’s contemporary British commentary/ analysis in general. And as for the refereeing!:admin
Benny Ricardo takes the aforesaid names and demolishes them all with his endlessly grating, overexcited and useless observations.
