The Lopez stoppage was fine. Lopez was up on pure heart.

The ref in the Berto/Ortiz fight was god-awful. His point deduction on Ortiz was bull****, and he seemed to get in the way and block the view of the best exchanges in the fight.

Steve Smoger and Jay Nady for me.
Ortiz/Berto ref... non intentional punch shouldn't be called. Intentional holding should.

Same for Khan ref. Dont think that other guy had a chance but how many times did Khan pull that guys head in and down AND sometimes hit while holding.

    Solido/Lopez.
I am in Pepper. Lopez was fighting on instinct.
The outcome was mute. He would have just kept taking punches until finally succumbing.

Wonder in Gamboa laughed or cried ? (would have been a BIG fight)

The Salido-Lopez ref was virtually guiltless, IMO.

The other two were far worse.

Berto ORTIZ good. Breaking Clinches fast letting them punch out.

SALIDO JUANMA GOOD. JUANMA got caught with 17 shots i counted in the last 15 seconds.. lets not make him ******ed and ruin his chances to come back healthy.. red is there to protect him and in that instant he protected juanma from himself as he would not let up

    KHAN MCCOLOSKEY.... STUPID... Small cut.

Exactly. That's the problem I had with the ref. He took a point away from Ortiz for hitting the side of Berto's head, yet Berto was holding about 500 times in the fight. No warning and no points taken. Horrible ref.

Ortega was trying to steel the show tonight! He cheated Ortiz out of a knockdown in round one, there were two. He took a point away for nothing and was constantly interfering with the fight. It was a good fight in spite of Ortega who needs to go back to ref school!

Khan fight was stopped on a cut that was not that bad. Khan would have won anyway, but that stoppage was absurd!

The Lopez fight was stopped too soon, while Lopez was fighting back, perhaps Lopez would have lost anyway, but thanks to the damned idiot ref we will never know. Ortega almost stopped the fight when Ortiz was in a little trouble after he got knocked down! Ortiz then knocked Berto down! What if that ******* had stopped that fight?! Ortega showed his bias..........
