mayweather has ducked the biggest fight in years and let down boxing fans everywhere. after starting negotiations letting it get close then doing a huge duck and retiring for a couple of years.
at least haye has not retired so the klits vs haye could still happen.

You just dont understand the business !...neither has ducked - business , contracts , negotiations its all goes into the mixer when a fight is being negotited ... if those things arent right then theres no fight - its a ****ing business decision...

weather you make a promise or not......it's still ducking.

the first two sets of negotiations with the brothers were a joke.

in the first, david would of got no money(setanta went bust)
and in the second with vitali,it was the same joke contract.

with the recent negotiations(with wladimir apparently willing to split 50/50)
there is nothing anyone can do to defend david.he made a promise to
clean out the heavyweight division, starting with the klitschkos,
and he's gone back on his word.if he does not fulfill that promise he
will become a joke to all boxing fans, including the british.

but he is nowhere near the ducker that is floyd money mayweather.

Haye will fight either Klitschko in the future, I've no doubts about that. He accepted a terrible deal in the past, so he wants it enough. His career has been distracted by Sauerland, King and the others, and then there's the fact his wife just had a baby. Some of the greatest warriors in boxing took time off after their wife, so it's nothing unusual.

As for Mayweather, I think he fabricated the PED issue just to avoid the fight and tarnish Pacquiao. If he has retired, the sole reason why, is because he knows Pacquiao won't be around after his next fight. Pitiful.

I'll use small words so you can understand. When a fighter makes his name by promising fans a certain fight and pulls out, that is a duck. Mayweather did not promise fans that he would fight Pac. He didn' t confront Pac in a mall, wear ridiculous t-shirts or pull out of a contacted fight. More importantly, he was a superstar before the fight.

David Haye was a little known fighter who made his reputation at heavyweight on his challenges of the Klitschko brothers. These challenges piqued the interst of even the causal fan. What has come of it? Haye got a quick shot at the WBA based entirely on the hype he had stirred up and the promised he had made to fans.

    Neither is ducking imo.

i understand fans gettin pissed that haye trash talks and aint yet signed to fight them, but just cos he is a dick dont mean he ducked.
