    If I could,

could I ask you the same question I asked McVey.

The film you are referring to,

is this the British Pathe film?

or is there another film out there?

you know perfectly that many of the things that i told you were truth, holyfield took the risk and he fought everybody, and who cares if he deserved it on paper? the important thing is that foreman vs tyson would have created a lot of money,2 legendary punchers from different eras,it would have been like dempsey facing joe louis, simply amazing. foreman wanted this fight, tyson " fight you this ****ing animal if you love him so much"

No good fighter or good manager, would let a fighter step in at ringside.
If Dempsey was prepared to fight another fighter he prepared for that fighter, not for Jeannette. Just cos Jeannette and the promoter, who needed to save his show, had Jeannette ready to go in the ring, that doesnt mean Dempsey avoided him or as the GOL's would claim that Dempsey ducked, and was afraid, to fight Jeannette, this as proof that Dempsey was afraid to fight him.

Concerning the Langford fight. His manager at the time was using Dempsey as cannon fodder, Dempsey who was a novice at the time wisely over ruled his "manager".

Does Bruce Seldon getting knocked down from a punch he ducked count towards this thread?

    Neither Langford,Jeannette who turned
40 the year Dempsey won the crown and had just2 fights in1919 before retiring,or McVey who didn't fight at all in1919 then lost to Pinky Lewis3-14-6 ,beat 0-3-0 Jack Ward ,had 2 no contests where he was thrown out for stalling, and a draw then retired in1921,were contenders during Dempsey's title reign.
You have been told this many, many times, but like the rest of the garbage you spew out ,you repeat it at intervals
Dempsey refused to fight Langford in early 1916 , he was 19 years old ,his then new manager John Reisler then matched him with John Lester Johnson. The Jeannette incident was Dempsey agreeing to fight a 6RD exhibition for war charity gratis, his spar partner withdrew why should he then take on Jeannette ? As usual you're full of it.
