Bowe's entourage was horrible. They also started a riot after the Elijah Tillery bout - Tillery kicked Bowe, Bowe's manager ran into the ring and wrestled Tillery down to the mat, 20 guys entered the ring and started beating each other up, fans in the stands started to riot, people pulled out their glocks and started shooting. Just a huge mess.

Dumb question. WTF does "bottle" mean? I'm sure it's some kind of Cockney rhyming slang, but from the context in which it was used, I thought it basically meant to cower away from someone. Here, it seems to being used completely differently. In any case, it's not a term that's ever used in the US.

 

Yeah, that was Bowe against Elijah Tillery.

IIRC Tillery kicked Bowe and Rock Newman (Bowes manager) jumped in and had a go.

 

Gonzales was always pretty overated though being a giant Cuban amatuer champ and all that.

yeah thats right, but the way it was used in this thread is as a verb. to bottle someone is to smash a glass bottle on them.

Also for punch ups Holmes vs Berbick is the undisputed.
