Juanma if you had just accepted defeat, everything wouldve been fine. You had to screw a perfectly acceptable loss with the worst excuse I have heard for losing a fight. Be a man and admit you got beat, it was obvious you were knocked out. This is worst than the toe excuse.

The translator took it easy on him, the real translation would sound even crazier.

What did he say? I know fighters have their pride and regardless whatever they may say I still respect what he left in the ring. I saw the fight, but didn't catch interviews.

Also badmouthed the ref and his son, who had ref'ed the first match. And Lopez said he was winning as well?!

Hmmm. How did he know what the judges' cards were?

Delusional. Great fight but dumb words.

I'm not condoning Juanma's statement, but I can understand / forgive it somewhat:

Based on the scorecards, the fix was obviously in. Juan's corner probably knew this, and told him he was ahead during the fight. Let's face it, in a fight this close, it would be hard for either fighter to have a clear idea of what the fight looks like to the fans & judges, you'd take your corners' word for it.

Now on the other hand, he also said the first fight was a bad stoppage, and he's had plenty of time to study that one, so I can't understand or forgive THAT statement.

The Ref had $20 000 on Orlando Salido to stop Juan Manuel Lopez in the 10th round!

    Juan Ma is right!

They should do a rematch! (with Marlon B wright as referee to store some integraty there!).

For me he ruined a very gutsy performance with his comments...he lost a lot of fans based on his comments. I wouldnt be surprised if the ref sues him, this sport is all about reputation.
