It's hard to disagree that Haye wouldn't have completely destroyed Wlad had the size difference been the opposite.

 

If I was 15 ft tall and had chainsaws for arms I'd have beaten either man. I don't, though, so what's the ****ing point in talking about it.

 

If you were 15 ft tall and had chainsaws for arms but came up against a 20 ft tall, machine-gun armed Ukrainian robot.. what would your excuse for getting killed be?

Now you're getting the idea why it's so ridiculous to say stuff like that. Maybe I'd just accept I was beaten by the superior man.

Also all this 'if Haye was as big as Wlad' etc... stuff hasn't had much thought. If I was to indulge that stuff there are loads of counter arguments. Do you think Haye's mechanics, technique, style, speed etc... would be the same as they are now if he was 3-4 inches taller and 2-3 stone heavier? because they absolutely wouldn't

It's a ridiculous thing to start throwing out there after losing a fight.

 

Haye has the worse excuse now after last night.

 

Not really. His toe was clearly hurting and his footwork was never that great anyway, last night it was even worse.
