Worst fight without film?

Tommy Ryan Vs Jack Dempsey.

From what I've read Dempsey may have been the most unfit to fight of anyone that has ever stepped in the ring. Like several levels worse than Ali against Holmes.

 

I had three fights as a junior amateur that were not filmed…

 

I vaguely remember reading about a bareknuckle fight held in Scotland during cold, wet weather between novices. It sounded like the audience almost wished the combatants started cheating by falling without being hit rather than inflicting an endless, skill-free slugging match on the audience.

 

But realistically, the answer to the thread is probably an unfilmed fight where one or both of the following happened:

* One of the competitors died.

* Police started arresting the audience for viewing an illegal prize fight.

 

Corbett v Jackson, Sullivan v Mitchell.

 

Even worse. There were fights that started at noon and got called due to darkness.

Or the ones where someone just kept going down over nothing and dragged it on for hours.
