Sorry how is that obvious? It's not at all obvious to me, the contrary however is. I don't see any logical argument given by you why there was no progress in boxing over the last 70 years other than it "being obvious"?
Shulz and Briggs were not comeback Foreman. Those fights took place 8 yeas after his comeback. quai , cooper , kooney were 'killed' by comeback foreman. Don King had absolutely nothing to do with his comeback eitheratsch Foreman 87 -93 would destroy in brutal every top rated hw post 2003 - aside from vitali ydksab
im not interested in what year you cherry picked. you started with 'comeback foreman'. briggs and shultz were at the end of his comeback when he was nearing 50 years of age. and there is no such thing as a lucky punch in boxing. foreman lured moorer into that shot by tapping him and giving him a false sense of security. it was a strategic blow out ydksab
There isn't a boxer active today that moved and boxed like willie pep. no hw today could do what marciano did. i could go on n on n on
Are you serious? I didn't say there was no progress. I said boxing doesn't progress each decade in the same way that other sports have. Today's sprinters and swimmers are the fastest of all time. Today's fighters are not the best fighters of all time. List today's top fighters. List the top fighters of the 80's and 90's. The guy who I was debating with said that today's fighters are 10x better than older fighters and tried to use track and field athletes and swimmers to back up his point. It's complete nonsense. There's been progress from the M.O.Q. but today's guys aren't the greatest fighters of all time.
