Hughie is better now than Tyson was at his age imo. He's going to improve plenty now his illness is sorted.

Chisora vs Roy, I'll be honest with you. I can see a 230lb Chisora's overhand right breaking right through Roy's guard and hurting him, and than finishing him.

When people just turn pro and are in their 20's the majority of boxers have 4 fights a year. I have no idea what you're trying to establish here?!?!

Big Josh has had 17 fights in 3 years for example.
    17 / 3 = 5.6* a year.

I could find more examples of this if you want?

    Fine, I'll bite.

He boxed 45 rds in 1989

    That's about 4 full 12 rds

    Ali would be so proud.

2003 Roy wouldn't win a HW title in today's division. The titleholders are all too big and strong. There's a reason he picked Ruiz.

    I don't think he'd even be a top 10 contender.

If you don't think Roy could beat the likes of Charles Martin, I don't know what to tell you.

Martin would beat Roy, simply because he's much bigger and stronger. Martin isn't 6'2, 230 lb Ruiz. Martin is 6'5, 245 lbs, and an 80 inch reach.

Surely Foreman knocking out Moorer proved beyond doubt that the all encompassing era rule isn't valid.

Roy would be outweighed by 52 lbs, and be at a 6 inch height and reach disadvantage.

You need to understand levels. If you don't think Roy could land lead left hooks from the outside and have a field day all night, like I said, I don't know what to tell you. A man around 200 pounds can hurt just about anyone, by the way. Especially a mediocre chinned heavyweight who's defense consists of "the mummy" Hasim Rahman school of sticking both your arms straight out.
