I go along with that. Some rave about Fury shocking the world in beating him, but it was a truly awful dance.
Hey pal, have you ever done a Rummy’s Corner on the late-1970s/early-80s light heavyweights? That’s about the most stacked division of my lifetime. I know my guy @George Crowcroft would dig it. Please give us a link if you have ... or if you’re taking requests — I’m not sayin’, I’m just sayin’.
I am not sure whom it was,,,, Greg Page was one. I had just watched the Ali -Frazier 1. Excited to watch a great fight, Saw two guys leaning on each other all night. so disaponted. 1983? Witherspoon?
He proved to me he didn't want it enough,Ali was there for the taking 34 years old 230lbs ,but Young didn't put it all on the line. Ducking your torso out of the ring is no way to win a fight. He lost decisions that were close because he was a nearly man, without a champions mentality,he had the talent ,but not the mind set. That view may be unpopular and a minority one but it's mine.
I actually asked him once if he was doing a LHW Tourney vid. That'd be cool, but I tend to enjoy most of the things rummy puts out, and the current character profile vids are teaching me about era's I didn't know about.
No he can’t, takes two to tango. Just 2 boxers putting on a poor show. Fury won, so good on him. Wlad had a few bore fests, this was one of ‘em.
