You can take your pick of any number of heavyweights: Braddock Sharkey Willard Baer Ingo The heavies are a law unto themselves though. Putting them to one side, Torres, Cuevas and Palomino are very iffy to me. McGuigan is much maligned, but he has a great win over Pedroza, and a few other quality wins too.
Probably Jess Willard or Ingemar Johanneson. Of more recent inductees, McGuigan is probably the worst of the bunch. Ismael Laguna is pretty darn borderline too. Last few years, Brian Mitchell was probably the least deserving, although when you're from a country with a rich boxing history and arguably the best fighter ever from that country, it makes it a lot harder to leave that guy out.
