Prince, to answer your question I'm gonna have to turn back the clock a bit and sort of turn into the poster I used to be for a little while. I'm gonna need to write a bit of an essay.


You see, when I read back some of my older posts I didn't like them. They were entertaining, but I felt as though sometimes I was too much of a loud, argumentative and obnoxious poster. Especially in 2009 when I joined. I like the people on this site. Most of em. They're good folks, and I don't blame them for thinking I was a twat.

In real life I've become a much calmer, wiser fella, and it's reflecting in my posting style. I'm becoming more sensible, more "zen like" However, I'm still a character, and will still make the odd silly post. That part of me should never die. I still get drawn into stupid arguments and go "toe to toe" with posters.


There is a fella in the lounge called John Garfield. This guy is an old skool new yorker. I've never hear him speak, but I bet he has a typical brooklyn accent, like you see in the movies. His stories, have so much charisma, they're so interesting. His posts have a sense of humour. Yet, he's a nice guy.

My posts no longer need to be obnoxious to have an impact. The forum still needs these type of posters though. I hope PK will continue to do his thing, and entertain. He is a showman. He talks some bull****. Maybe 50% of the time I don't agree with him. Like when he said Kell Brook would beat Pac, but this forum is all about opinions.

I don't post much in the brit forum these days. My passion for boxing is still strong (but I haven't watched the Pacquiao Bradley fight because I was too upset that Pac lost), but this forum is a shadow of what it once was. A certain mod started banning posters, and they've either disappeared or don't post as much.

This forum needs good all rounders like Gazoc and skillspaybills. It needs posters with great boxing knowledge like fleaman and slipandcounter. It needs charismatic and interesting posters like flint, and PK. People who kept the choi thread going with discussions on life, like beeston brawler and brummylad. I miss all that. I miss bettyswollocks coming in here just to have a pop at Hatton, while Gazoc would act like a member of Hattons entourage, trying to defend him. Being all sensible and sheeeeit. Sometimes it annoyed me because I knew Gazoc was correct, but he was always sensible and spoke too much sense. His logic annoyed me. Those were the good days.


Sorry to say, but the new kids on the block are not my cup of tea. It's a younger crowd. This forum used to be like an old tavern. It's now a cocktail bar. The old skool fellas have gone. I spend most of my time on this forum in the lounge. The lounge is also not what it once was, but there are some great discussions on there. Some of my greatest posts have been made in the lounge.

I just took it back to old skool right there. Maybe that was the last time, because these days it doesn't feel right, me making such posts.
