Melvina Lathan scored the first round of Lewis-Grant 10-7, as well.

I think some judges are uncomfortable scoring three-knockdown rounds 10-6 because it puts the fighter in too much of a disadvantage for the rest of the fight, scoring-wise at least.

Jerry Roth- 115-113 Trinidad against De La Hoya

The score is bad enough, but the fact Roth gave Tito 3 of the first 4 rounds and Oscar the 12th is just baffling. :patsch

That score shutout for Jose Navarro against Mijares was utterly beyond comprehension.

As was the judge who scored Mijares-Munoz 115-113 in Munoz' favour.

Seemed to be a bit of a thing with Mijares.

Eugenia Williams scored the first Lennox Lewis-Evander Holyfield bout for Holyfield. She gave Holyfield the 5th round, when Holyfield was getting his ass kicked.

Miguel Donate had Azumah Nelson beating Jeff Fenech by four points in the first fight.

The judges who had those bouts even weren't much better either.

Ken Morita had Mike Tyson beating Buster Douglas 87-86 going into the 10th round. Another judge had it even. Morita also had Oscar De La Hoya beating Ike Quartey by 2 points....BEFORE the 12th round.

All the judges in Marvin Hagler-Roberto Duran were pretty bad. Yusaku Yoshida & Ove Ovesen having Duran winning after 13 rounds, and Guy Jutras having it even at that point. Ridiculous.

Hal Miller had Wilfredo Benitez beating Duran by just one point.

Frank Brunette & Jerry Roth scoring the rematch between Michael Spinks and Larry Holmes in favor of Spinks.

Chuck Hassett's 118-111 scorecard for Holmes over Tim Witherspoon was shitty.

Yeah that was bad. Makes me wonder how people give that fight to JMM when the one mistake that was clearly made helped JMM. Though somewhat in her defense in professional fights its not like that situation comes up much and when it does normally a 3 knockdown rule is in effect.

Seriously though 3 knockdowns deserves it I mean that is a massive win for the fighter and its not like its something every fighter can do to another fighter if they are both world class.
