Carnera holds HW-title-fight-wins over Sharkey, Loughran, and Uzcudun. Beat some era relevant fighters in Schaaf, Levinsky, Kennedy, Maloney, etc. as well.

Well, then that's me that I'm biased. I've always thought (and still think) that he is one of the worst fighters I've ever seen.

    You're not alone.

What a load of garbage. Ruiz is EASILY the worst HW champion of all time, because his entire career is basically a FRAUD, based on cheating and corruption.

In virtually any fight Ruiz had above the tomato-can level he either lost or cheated - blatantly violating rules against excessive holding, or faking "low blows" to avoid being counted out against Thunder and Holyfield (II) and to get an unjustified DQ "win" against Johnson.

Against Golota, he was knocked down twice, actually got another point deduction for one his illegal moves, and was OUTLANDED. And yet, he was still give a decision! Now that's corruption at its finest!

Only his connections with Don King allowed this glorifieid clubfighter to get rankings and title shots he didn't deserve, favorable treatment for his illegal tactics and low blow chicanery from refs, and unjust gift decisions he shouldn't have received

If the rules are enforced against Ruiz, and he's forced to fight WITHIN the rules, he loses every time. Without Don King, the only thing he'd ever be known for is getting starched in 19 seconds by David Tua.

Toss up between Bruce Seldon or Deontay Wilder. Wilder probably takes it because at least Seldon had the courage to get in the ring with Tyson.

Please spare with your John Ruiz bullcrap. Everyone knows his ties with Don King got him title shots.
