Actually, Taylor was semi properly managed while champ... While champ, he's fought guys who were/are champ that span about 4 weight divisions...

    Hopkins rematch
    Wright
    Spinks
    Ouma
    Pavlik

I think that HBO was trying to build up a Taylor/Miranda showdown... Also, Winky turned down a rematch with Taylor...

Pavlik on the other hand, smh... Gary Lockett.... enough said

Your half right. They took care of Taylor. Given he had about have the skill he needed for the level he made it to, I'd say his people were a bunch of geniuses. He is retired, young and still on top of a pile of cash. Pavlik should have been a legitimate celebrity and multimillionaire. He is going to wind up paving driveways for a living.

    Bolivian for sure.
Hopkins and Martinez were terrible match ups for him at this stage of his career.

I can't blame him. Imagine if Tito won instead of Wright? Id want a Trinidad-Mosley much more than a DLH-Mosley 3.

Dawson is still ok! He's a HBO fighter + big names on his resume. LHW division is not deep so after the Pascal fight (good fight IMO) he will run out of options. Other good LHW fighters are in Europe...

any filipino boxer who isn't Manny Pacquiao.

Ray Boom Boom Bautista. Thrown to the lions at age 19 against THE Ghost Guerrero.

Brian Viloria. Did not capitalize at all on his hawaiian ancestry. Has avoided Nonito like the plague.

Nonito Donaire. His last fight wasn't his fault. His original opponent failed an eye exam and the replacement was a midget. HOWEVER, He should be getting more exposure on some Arum undercards. It also seems as if he didn't capitalize after KO'ing Vic.

Whats the deal with Don King? Is he washed up?

Is King being controlled by strong arm tactics, as sorta of revenge from when he use to practicallty run the sport himself.
