and he knocked out the WBC champion in Bruno....not sure what point youre trying to make, however is ranking was just , apparently
:rofl:rofl:rofl I wonder why you think that. I'm sure it has nothing to do with your bizarre hero worship of the Klitschkos.
Was Kendall Holt not the mandatory for Peterson ? I know Judah was but he signed with Garcia so the IBF made Holt the mandatory, right ? I am not saying he was the worse or anything but he had not won a fight at 140 since 2008
what do you want from? the heavyweight division is ****ing horrible and boxing in general sucks because of what it has become. and you worship that poor ass clown whos fault it never is...... always getting picked on right? poor david :-(
what im trying to get at is, Tyson didnt deserve to be number 2 just based on beating Peter Mcneeley, if he hadnt been rushed into title fights and money fights with Holyfield etc, his post prison career would have worked out slightly better
Mike Tyson...former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, in his 20's, coming off the back of a couple of wins, was the worst mandatory challenger of all time? :huh
Yeah Franco Udella was the lflw champ and his mandatory was Rafael Lovera who had never fought professionally. Udella didn't fight him and got stripped. Lovers then fought Estaba for the vacant belt losing by brutal ko in 4 rounds. Lovers never fought again. A lot of guys listed on this thread are at least top 20 material. Lovers had never fought before, he lost his mandatory challenge and never fought again. His record reads 0-1 with his only ever fight endind in ko defeat. I can't see any guy being a worse mando than him.
That's unbelievable! What the hell was going on there? There can't possibly be a worse mandatory challenger. Thanks a lot for the reply mate.
Udella wasn't highly regarded and the WBC wanted a mexican champion. they gave a false record for that lovera but noone had ever heard of him. when udella fought someone else they immediately matched lovera with estaba the mexican who they wanted as champ (estaba did go on to beat udella anyways). very dodgey stuff went on here and there's probably more info out there. this wasn't like patterson (the prof champ) having a big money fight with rademacher (amateur champ) this was an enforced mandatory challenge and one that I can't ever imagine being justified.
