Yeah, the only way would be if Don King, Bob Arum & Golden Boy would have thier fighters compete against eachother in a supercard. not much luck in that...
In the 80's the undercards were not so bad. pretty good fighters. Then about the mid 90's they were starting to put some garbage on the undercards. Guys you wouldn't even watch on ESPN. & they are fighting just before a major PPV main event??
true but a large portion of boxing was in kings pocket by this time...before people were wise of his ways.he had tyson, chavez, ricardo lopez, hopkins, trinidad, norris, McCallum,McClellan,Mel Taylor....damn impressive list. also once you were in his net he could make super cards and make crazy amounts of ppv revenue.
Holyfield/Oquendo was PPV. Not an HBO, but a PPV nonetheless. I'm pretty sure the numbers were pretty shitty.
The Khan v Presscott farce was a bad one.Khan was not even British champ and sky decided to charge extra for it.And it turned out to be a mis match.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wlad vs iggy. like what ****ing fight could get worst than that. i costed me 44.99 can. I invited all my buddies over and it was a complete ****ing joke. iggy throw like 6 punches a round and wlad slap is jab down with his jab. Totall gayness.. Madison Square gardens turned into a boo fest. Biggest waste of money ever and so was iggy vs holyfeild back in 2007 in russia in october. Brutal. and Wlad vs iggy was a inifacation fight. and it was that gay. That one reason i had wlad and iggy. TWO CHAMPIONS(so called) fighitng like cowards on PPV who can beat that.. nothing gets that bad
