Didn’t Buster Douglas’s father abandon him in the ring ?

I remember Jim Lampley talking about it during the Tyson fight

I don’t remember him abandoning him in the ring, but he was annoyed that Buster lacked the desire that he had, and stopped working with him after the Tucker fight

I think one of the most intense outbursts I remember was Angelo Dundee when Pinklon Thomas fought Tyson. It wasn’t negative because he was defending his guy but I remember it caught my attention as a kid. Tyson had bombed Thomas in the 1st round & the doctor came to look at him. Dundee screams “He’s alright leave him the f### alone!” Made my mom sit up I know that!

Some fans may say Lou Duva jumping on the ring apron when Meldrick Taylor was being ask questions by Richard Steele. Lou was an ass but I don't think Taylor knew where he was at that mmoment.

That's one of Angelo's best assets is he is dedicated to his fighter. It's a great moment. He instills confidence in his boxer during a fight. The doctor was fuking that up too early
