Worst officionating this decade, in which the ref played a major part.

Just slightly out of this decade, but the worst I've seen was Martinez/Cintron.

Martinez knocked Cintron out with a punch and the ref ruled that it was a headbutt. He counted to 10 and Cintron didn't get up on time, but after some lobbying from Cintron, the ref said the got up on time, when he didn't. The ref let the fight continue and the Martinez got a draw from some shady judges.

 

danny garcia vs mattysse was bad. eitherway it is mattysses and his teams fault for not going low back immediately to force the ref to do something.

Mayweather-Maidana 2 was pretty bad. Floyd quickly figured out that all he had to do was initiate a clinch and the action would be stopped.
Floyd didn´t really have to defend himself when Maidana got to him.

 

I think a lot of refs actually have no idea or clue, just winging it.

And the ones who do know what they are doing are almost senile anyway!

Same applies to judges.

 

Parker isn’t but you could see that was his only chance and what he was going for, which surprised me though not as much as the ref breaking them apart after a nano second
