Out of the heavyweights that have not been caught yet. I think David Haye, Anthony Joshua and Joseph Parker are quite obviously doing PED's now. David Haye has gained a lot of size and muscle after his long time out of boxing, and is at his biggest ever not in his late twenties, but somehow in his mid thirties when his natural hormones have been in decline for many years. Anthony Joshua looks bigger and leaner than bodybuilders did back in Arnold's era in the 70s, and we are supposed to be stupid enough to belive that is natural, even though steroid abusers that dedicated their lives to lifting weights in the 70s could not get that big, and ripped on drugs. Joseph Parker has started showing obvious signs of gyno recently(***** tits) if this was natural it would of happened in his teens, not when he is a full grown adult. Obviously something synthetic is giving him ***** tits.
Joshua is clearly on drugs and the fact they keep delaying year round VADA despite constant questions speaks volumes.
joshua is taking peds along with the rest of world level boxers, but to suggest he is bigger and leaner than people such as serge nubret, Ferrigno and arnie were in the 70's is just baffling.
He is almost the same size then. Is Joshua a lot bigger than Frank Zane who was on steroids and lifted weights to get bigger as a job, yes he is. Why because he is obviously taking drugs. Is Joshua leaner, more ripped with that HGH 3D look to his muscles far leaner than any bodybuilder in the 70s, yes he is. Why because he is obviously on drugs.
Anthony Joshua is not anywhere near the size, proportions, density, muscle maturity and condition that the physiques of bodybuilders in the 70's displayed when in competition shape. Arnold (6'2", 235 lbs), Nubret (5'10", 220lbs), Olivia (6', 240 lbs), Ferrigno (6'5", 285 lbs) all would look much more impressive than Joshua standing side by side. He's 6'6" and 245-250, with less density, less aesthetic proportions, yes higher bodyfat, and much less overall maturity in his physique. He's a big dude for a boxer though. Zane, who you mentioned, was drastically more shredded and aesthetic, at 5'9" and 185 lbs....he only has one of the most admired physiques for pure aesthetics that bodybuilding has ever seen, so it's not a great comparison. Joshua is a big guy, who obviously trains, and more likely than not has had some help through ped use, but comparing him to professional bodybuilders of any era from the mid 60's on is a losing proposition.
