I nominate Ricky Hatton vs Pac Man

Hatton had not looked the same since getting made to headbutt the turnbuckle, providing Mayweather with his once every 20 fights KO.

He was saved by the ref against featherfisted Juan Lazscano in desperate scenes in his homecoming, but did have a good win over Paulie.

The Filipino had looked sensational in destroying Oscar De la Hoya, was in his pomp and clearly levels above Hatton.

Hatton beer swilling, palid, yellow toothed fans however, made enough noise that people began to belive Hatton had a good chance.

"I'm fooking massive at 140" cried Hatton, as his fans chanted "who are ya" at his opponent. They would find out exactly who very soon indeed.

Pacquiao told everyone the exact sequence he would use to dispatch Hatton, and he took just two rounds to do it, Dropping Hattons lifeless carcass to the canvas with minimal effort. A brutal end to a brutal mismatch.

Hattons ego imploded and he turned to drugs, food and alcohol to numb the pain and humiliation.

Pacquiao went on to become a modern great, looking supreme on many an occasion, but would not have another night quite so effortless as he did vs Manchesters hero

Bellew is an obvious one against Stevenson.

    Saunders v Akavov.

Some of the above examples (Lockett v Pavlik, Bruno v Tyson) are just examples of massively outclassed underdogs getting outclassed. The equivalent of Germany playing Andorra and beating them 10-0.

Saunders has had a fair few fights which are the equivalent of Germany playing Andorra and winning 2-1 with the winner going in off the referee’s arse.

Barrett Galloway was a real stinker.

The black flash looked more like a deflated Dunlop.

It wasn't a big fight, however it was HIS big fight.

So for me its Brian Rose vs Andrade, whether or not Rose froze I don't know, he was incredibly poor though I remember that.

Liam Walsh vs. Gervonta Davies springs to mind. I think Walsh is an excellent boxer and gave him a real chance of causing the upset but he just never turned up and got blasted out of there before he could even get going and his career has never recovered since.

Expect someone to soon say Jamie McDonnell v Inoue but let's be honest he was completely ****ed going into that fight.... the weight seriously caught up with him.

He had absolutely nothing going into the ring. Dave Coldwell went into detail on it during a podcast I listened too some weeks back now and they were looking to pull him out beforehand but because he'd put that much expense into camp he couldn't afford too.

Hatton/Pac has to be up there. Yes there were major issues in camp but we can only judge performance and he was killed in there so early.

    Bellew/Stevenson also sprung to mind.

    Nah not even close.

Haye showed considerable defensive skills against a prime ATG and negated a klitschko who was crushing all his opponents to a tepid points decision.

I'm talking performances where the fighter showed nothing.
