Arthur Abraham being thoroughly outboxed by Dirrell in the Super 6, gets Dirrell down, and then cheapshots him to save face. Oh ya, then plays stupid FFS
Honestly, Joshua's quit job against Ruiz is one of the worst I have seen in recent memory. It wasn't like Ruiz was landing a ton of follow up shots. Joshua just basically gave up without even trying to weather the storm.
I suppose nothing can beat Ajagba vs Harper, the only instance I know of someone quitting before the fight started. Though TBF Harper was apparently being stiffed in regards to payment so I can't really blame him. This content is protected
Yeah, getting up 4 times and wanting to continue every time, getting into the exchanges he shouldn't get into, is definitely not trying to weather the storm, lol.
aj got demolished by Michelin Man's obese cousin and gave up in his corner, nothing else compares. Duran simply couldn't catch up with Leonards footwork that's a massive disappointment not an embarrassment, people need to learn the difference
Joshua had had enough and wanted out but I wouldn't rate it as one of the worst quits. Duran in the nomas fight against Leonard for instance, was way worse.
Yeah, AJ didn’t quit against Ruiz. He just wasn’t mentally prepared for the kind of fight it turned into, and was unable to center himself mentally after he got caught.
There are fights where fighters have been DQd for not trying. Lee Murray for example against Jersey Joe Walcott.
this was supposed to be crack into the america market fight against easy cherry pick and he ended up getting humiliated and quitting nothing compares to this
