The "worst" quit jobs in boxing

All have taken more punches to the head

    And risked their lives

A hundred times more than any keyboard warrior starting a thread like this.

1000000% Joshua bottling his us debut against a little fat guy with zero camp

Fury may be a lot of things outside the ring and on the odd occasion terrible in it (mcdermott Ngannou) but he would never be so pathetic and bottle it like that. His body language and the big goofy smile are signs of him quitting

Even wilder for all his limitations is willing to go out on his shield

Joshua is a front running bully. He is very good yes,but when he is put under pressure he will fold again. It might not be this week, but soon he will quit again

*Sigh* that's the whole point. His mouth said yes but his brain and body said no. He quit. Plain and simple.

AJ got dropped 4 times by Ruiz jr

Tor Hamer lost round 3 and got hit by Ruiz jr, then quit on his stool.

    Hamer's quit job was disgraseful

Nothing I've seen mentioned is anywhere near as bad as Tor Hamer quitting against Andy Ruiz after literally winning the round before he quit in the corner. It was so bad Lou Dibella fired him on national TV and Hamer never even fought again. If there's a tier of quit jobs, that was an S-Tier quit job

I remember Johnny Du Plooy quitting on his stool against David Bey.

Then his trainer (his dad iirc) convinced him to go out for one more round and just circle around and try to counter him. Du Plooy promptly knocked Bey out ...

I just love posts like this

We aren't professional fighters. But, its no different in life for us that face adversity no matter what it may be at work, school, etc and don't quit.

You are supposed to go out on your shield. That is the code and has been the code for over 100 years. If the result is a savage KO so be it. You do not quit in a fight. It is disgraceful and once you quit once it makes it even easier to quit a second time. You sound like a god damn idiot. I'm betting you quit on a daily basis in life. Loser.

 Khan was a Glass Jawed crybaby. Was KOed in just about every big fight he was in because he had No Chin. None.

What surprises me more about Khan is despite that both Froid and "worst commentator ever" bradley basically ducked it. What he took from Maidana was no joke either, impressed by him tbh.
