This poll is missing Omar Narvaez, who may very well be the worst offender. He's up there with Erdei.
Naw bruh.. First of all the threadstarter was wrong for even putting Erdei in the list.. He's been fighting much longer than the other guys on the list so he it's not fair to put him there. OF course it's Erdei cuz he's a veteran.. But out of the other young titleholers, It's BUTE..
Where did the original poster use the word "young"? And if we're talking about young up-and-comers, there are much worse offenders there than Bute as well. Bute has at least faced 4 guys who were Ring top 10 in the weight class when he fought them. That's a lot more impressive than Valero, Guererro, Solis, Berto and the like. And where does the original poster get off putting Kotelnik in the poll when he just faced a guy in the Ring top 10 and will be facing Victor Ortiz in his next fight?
Kotelnik, WTF? For one he's only defended his title three times. Two, he's fought M'baye in France, Witter in England, Rees in England, and dangerous banger Maidana, how many people do you think were enthused about fighting this guy with 24 knockouts from 25 wins? Far from padded record, especially if the whispers about fighting Ortiz are true.
Kotelnik??? The guy has 2 title defences and 1 was against a 25-0 (24 KOs) prospect and his next fight will most likely be against Victor Ortiz.
Good call. The dude holds the record for most title defences by an Argie after overtaking Monzon. Monzon was THE Middleweight champ defending against good fighters whereas Narvaez is keeping hold of the WBO belt.
Right now the most padded fighters who are getting alot of attention are Valuev, Valero, and Bute. Out of the 3 of them Bute is by far the best talent and closer to the real deal.
Kotelnik has a top record for being a so-called "protected European" which he clearly is not... ...Witter, M'Baye (2x), Abdoulaev, Maidana,...
Bute is no worse a record padder than a guy like Berto. Bute is still a little bit short of his prime and has stepped it up at a pretty fast pace. He's fought guys like Bika and Andrade, both of whom are still top10 ring magazine even though he beat them.
Ludicrious thread! Kotelnik has a padded record,eh! Obviously, you know **** about him.He has fighting abroad on foreign soil for ages squarring off against whowever was put in front of him. He doesnt even call out the big names in interviews,eh! Can you read Russian? Have you ever read a Russian newspaper or have you ever had a look at a russian speaking box site? Kotelnik avoiding the main threats out there! You must be a kidder.
