What fighter, that challenged for a World Title, had the worse record? (Min. of 10 bouts)

Ross Puritty had an abysmal record when he fought the Klitschkos for the WBO belt

His 31-20 record isn't even close to the record.

I am looking for the worse record at the end of the fighters career (min. 10 fights).

He challenged neither Klitschko for the WBO belt, to my knowledge.

The best he did was to box for the WBU Title (Micky Ward won the same title in a lighter weight class). I am only counting the Big 4 (IBF, WBA, WBC & WBO Titles).

No, this guy didn't have that many bouts.

I am looking for the lowest winning percentage of a Title Challenger.

Hmmm...according to boxrec (which Mr. Hascup typically uses as
reference criteria for his trivia) Julio Hernandez was 5-9-0, and
coming off a first round knockout loss when he challenged Gomez
for Wilfredo's WBC SB belt in a match seen on here on youtube.
    Hernandez retired 5(2)-14(7)-0.

1-4-0 Mario Martinez got a shot at Sammy Serrano's WBA SF Title
off his only recorded career win, and actually went the distance,
losing by a margin of 14-1 in rounds on all three cards. In his next
bout over two years later, he somehow managed to last ten complete
rounds in Detroit with Dujuan Johnson. Martinez finished 1-8(5)-0
though, one bout short of Henry's threshold. If one more bout for
Martinez could be identified, and his complete resume then confirmed,
    he'd be hard to top.

Close, But I am looking for the worse career record, meaning at the end of his career he had the worse record of anyone that fought for a World Title. Hint: The fighter I am looking for, never won a single bout in his Professional boxing career. As far as BoxRec goes, I am one of the editors that puts in the information.

So basically, the guy had more than 10 pro fights, never won one and was still granted a world title crack at some point?

Did he get his title crack early, if this is the case im guessing he had at least a good am pedigree:think

With an 0-10 record Domingus Siwalette just makes the cut.

You got it. He fought for the IBF Title in his 1st Pro bout, then fought 2 other former or future Champions in his next 2 bouts. He ended up with a 0-10 record and half his bouts were against World Champions. Great Job B!
