Lawrence Cole on Marquez-Jaca. The ******* even suggested matter-of-factly to Marquez that he can opt not to continue because he's winning on the cards.

It's a wonder he still gets choice assignments, I was surprised he reffed Montiel-Hasegawa.

Wait, he does have a father Dickie Cole heading the Texas Boxing Commission, that's ****in why!

    :rofl

let me guess...you're a hatton fan? you from england? or you just lose money on the fight? cortez let them do hatton's typical mauling ugly inside "fighting" every now and than and mayweather still beat him at his own game.

since we're letting our own bias' show here, i'll vote the hatton--KT fight and the hatton-lazcano fight. I remember there were times in the lazcano fight where they would clinch and hatton would look over at the ref as if to stop it and break it up and sure enough he would. This happened many times to the point where it was almost too obvious that hatton controlled the ref that night. Sure enough later in the fight hatton gets rocked b/c his chin is **** and the ref stops the fight because a shoe lace was undone or some crap. That was one incredibly and obviously biased ref. Both were more biased for hatton than cortez was for floyd in that fight. I personally thank him for not letting hatton "fight his fight" since i paid to see a boxing match, not a hug fest, which is hatton's "style". To paraphrase freddie roach, hatton was simply never that good of a boxer.

read the post above^^^ and "by a large margin" just goes to show how little of the sport you have watched. You're choice for the second was a far worse display of reffing than your choice for the worst.
