Like i said i only showed this video because some guy said that it was the referee that won froch this fight. I know froch should of had 1 point taken off, but dirrell atleast deserved 1 too If he boxed like he did in the 11th thee whole fight then he would of won the fight clearly The referee didnt make dirrell hold, so i dont see how he can be the worst ref ever. did the referee change the fight no
Oh yeah ur right about the ref thing. I looked up the fight on boxrec after seeing the highlights on youtube and saw Adolphs name before anyone elses so I assumed he was the ref (not like I would know him by sight to be honest) Yeah i didnt quite get the ending. He got low blows that dropped him and the ref starts counting. I was thinkin he was gonna count him out for the low blows (maybe he assumed they were body blows) but then he counts past 10 til like 15..I was like WTF?? From what I understand, according to the end announcement, that the fighter is allowed 5 min. BUT they have to try and get up by the count of 10 after the initial low blows that dropped him. Since Norwood didnt try then its a TKO. Yeah I dont get it and I have never heard of before. other than that, at least according to the highlights, Sila missed alot of **** Norwood was throwing, like repeated low blows, kidney punchs and body slams.
Jersey Joe in the Clay-Liston II fight. Joe Louis in every fight he ever ref'd. Whoever was the ref for Tyson-Douglas...
The French dork that is pretty much responsible for Gerald McClellan tlaking to himself in a chair these days. Mercante Jnr for the abhorrent Batehaven Scotland death. Dave Parris' one way traffic for Hatton V Tszyu. Lots. Referee's are appointed through backroom politics more than performance.
Jose Guadalupe Garcia in the Braithwaite/Cantatore fight a few years back. If anyone finds this on video somewhere, please post it. Shocking bias towards Cantatore.
