worst referee ever

This had to take the cake. I mean...come on! No ref could be worse.
Did not speak English, deducted enough points to end a fight and did not fix the wraps?

 

Laurence Cole's been suspended already for his poor officiating.

 

thank god. telling a fighter he can quit because he's ahead on the scorecards is absolutely a joke. i heard his dad was involved in the commision which is why he got his gigs.

The South American ******* who reffed the 1987 WBC Light-Heavy title fight between Thomas Hearns and Dennis Andries was utterly clueless and performed his duties like he was senile...... I have to review my tape to get his name........ He was a sorry *******........

I don't care what anyone here claims, but the Juan Martin Coggi vs Eder Gonzalez ref was the worse ever.

 

Cortez used to be good years ago but has been pretty poor for the last few years.

Ottke-Reid ref was shockingly bad! Did anything happen to him after that fight as he should never be allowed to ref any level of fight again.

The guy actually penelised Reid for punching Ottke :-(

 

That happens alot in Germany, its hardly uncommon, you simply aren't allowed to win as a visiting fighter.

Roger Tilleman was the referee in question.

 

You can count me in on that, his robbery of Ian Napa still gets me angry now.

Thats the first fight that sprung to mind, if I remember right didnt one of the replays show the guy Williams was fighting and it showed a metal bar fall out of his glove! It was a miracle Williams won that, he did well.

 

I hated Joey Curtis for stopping "Dokes-Weaver 1" in the first round back in '82........ ARGH!

Those are all bad but I can't believe no one posted the video of the fight where one guy's mother comes out of the crowd and starts beating the opponent over the head with her shoe... and then ref DQ'd the fighter that was getting assaulted.
